BORO Consulting was incorporated in 2006 to focus on the development of software solutions that exploited the BORO Approach - the use of Reference Ontologies (RO) based upon the Business Object (BO) paradigm.

There has been significant investment on the BORO Approach, which BORO Consulting draws upon. The approach has been in continuous development for over 20 years, involving over 50 man years of effort and over £10m of investment. This includes over 10 man-years of in-depth research.
